Snowfall looks set to reach as far south as London this week as Brits brace for the first proper freeze of 2018, a year after the Beast from the East hit the UK.
Trick-or-treaters have been warned to wrap up for what could be the coldest Halloween in a century.
Freezing air from the Arctic is set to hit the UK today, pushing temperatures well below freezing by the weekend.
Scotland and northern England are currently on alert for sleet, snow and hail with the latest forecasts hinting at wintry showers hitting the capital.
