Militarized Project Flood toward Full Spectrum Dominance
In desperation amidst Project Flood 2011, trucks and Bobcats dumped and packed clay and dirt atop levees Thursday morning after 500 U.S. military personnel, including British troops, arrived and approximately 11,000 people raced to evacuate their homes in Minot, Burleigh Cty, North Dakota where the Souris River levees failed. Water is expected to rise faster Thursday from upstream dams that the Army Corps of Engineers opened.
British troops were among five hundred military personnel, National Guards deployed to the scene late Tuesday.
In what the Department of Defense terms a "foreign exchange program," British troops arrived to help the National Guard during what the military had dubbed Project Flood 2011. "Among those troops was Cpl. Arseny Barkovskiy, a British soldier with the Allied Rapid Corps’ Military Police Battalion, who traveled from his home in London Friday, June 10, to work with the South Dakota Army National Guard’s 235th Military Police Company for two weeks at Dakota Dunes as part of the U.S. Army’s Personnel Exchange Program."
