http://www.nation.com.pk/pakistan-news-newspaper-daily-english-onli...This is huge. If you don't know Dr. Siddiqui's story, it is surely one for the books. I've always thought that officials would only tell such an absolutely embarrassing story to cover up an even bigger one.
I'm also of the mindset that this may be a way to give the old US puppet and newely "elected" Nawaz Sharif credibility within Pakistan as he is not so well regarded. It fits in well with the story that Afghanistan is allowing US bases to stay on the guise of concern for Pakistan's nuke capabilities and being a safe-haven for Taliban. Remember Obama campaigned on taking troops out of Afghanistan, but only to send them into Pakistan. We are also rekindling our affair with India, which is, of course by definition, isolating Pakistan. Stay tuned.
