Contractors Aren’t “Guest Workers”

Hi Gordon,

I read your recent article “Breaking: Nuclear Alert” and I e-mailed it to all my friends and family and asked them to forward my e-mail to all their friends and relatives. I don’t know if what you exposed in your article and what is currently happening at Thumrait AB, Oman (where I work) have any relationship. What I do know is that what is happening here has no justification.

Effective 1 June 2014, the Base Commander at Thumrait AB, Oman, namely Colonel Keith L. Thibodeaux, has directed all American contractors who provide support to his base, to vacate their very comfortable and fully furnished apartments in Salalah, Oman and move permanently on base in two man trailers/RLBs and keep all the civilian contractors under strict lockdown, allowing us to leave the base only if it is mission essential. He is doing this not as a drill but as policy. Some of the contractors under the CTSS contract, for which I work for, have been working in Oman for over ten years. Some have their families here; some have wives that work in the local economy; and, some have their children attending school here. I have been working here for over three years and not once have I ever experienced any violent crime or threat/terrorist threat.

As I am sure you know, the Sultanate of Oman is a very peace loving country, rich in culture and history with close ties to the United States. What has caused Colonel Thibodeax to change the policy at Thumrait is beyond me. All I know is that it simply does not make any sense, there is no justification for it and it is totally absurd. The only justifications I can see is:

1. Perhaps Colonel Thibodeax is an Islamaphobic and thinks that the peace loving people of Oman are terrorist or a threat to Americans, which is absurd; or,

2. Being Oman is located at the mouth of the Straits of Hormuz, perhaps, just perhaps, the Pentagon, in coordination with Israel or Israel’s Mossad, are planning a false flag to disrupt the very important shipping lanes and blame the terrorist act on Iran to derail the historic P5+1 deal.

Most of my co-workers have sent letters to their Senators and Congressmen/women. Attached is the letter I sent to my Virginia Senator, Tim Kaine. I sent similar letters to Virginia Senator Mark Warner and my Virginia 8th District Congressman, Jim Moran, via their websites, urgently asking them for their assistance in this matter. So far, none have responded.

So my question is, could this be another false flag attempt? If you feel that it might be related to your “nuclear alert” that leaves a lot to be concern about. We here at Thumrait could be sitting ducks/sacrificial lamb. Please let me know.
