US Senator - direct voting at US national level
Mike Gravel is a former US Senator who advocates amending the American constitution to allow citizens to participate in their national government.
Like the BC Refederation Party MIke points out that when the American and Swiss constitutions were written about 150 years ago the American constitution failed to allow citizen control over Washington DC. The Swiss retained a citizen veto over their government with a simple mechanism.
