Using The Immigration Issue To Issue Biometric Cards To Everyone

The immigration issue is a divisive one.

Personally I see illegal immigrants as hard working law abiding people struggling to survive in an increasingly difficult world where borders are porous running from oppression to a country that can't survive without their labor. Without them the lettuce that's already on your table at $2 a head would be $4. The tomato's for your salad? You probably couldn't afford them. But that's not the point.

A bill is quietly working its way through the American legislative system to require Biometric Cards for all aliens. That includes ANYONE that wants to be employed here. No card, no work.

The plan includes YOU in time. The working ideology behind the move is that we've all got Social Security cards and they're vulnerable to being tampered with so we should make them tamper-proof.

Under the legislation envisioned by Senators Graham and Schumer the estimated 10.8 million illegals living in the US would be offered an easy path to citizenship by registering, paying a fine and becoming tax payers and waiting in line for approval. A guest worker program will allow for a certain number of foreigners to work here each year.

A person familiar with the legislation said the Biometric data would likely be either fingerprints or a scan of the veins in the top of the hand. It will be required of ALL workers including teenagers but will be phased in with current workers needing to obtain the card when they next changed jobs.

Schumer says employers will be able to buy a scanner to check IDs and connect with a data base for about $800. Smaller employers will be able to take employees to a government office like the Motor Vehicle Department and have their hands scanned there.

I'm glad I no longer need to work.

Peace.

Laughing out loud on that one sir.

Humor is indicative of an intellectual mind, but you knew that.
