Watching the World Come Down

I watched the world come down falling at my feet

I watched a battleground right on my street

Just like a horror movie just take your seat

Idiots who prefer violence and defeat,

What happened to that happy sound?

When children could go out and play around

Yet, it seems that the shooters are never found

Feminist Democrats all wearing America hating frowns,

So evil as they smile crushing patriotism and hope

Falling into quick sand from that slippery slope

With struggling Americans at the end of their rope

We have a president who loves to grope!

Which US fleet will enter the Black Sea or Taiwan Straits

Which nation will be the first to serve blood on their plate?

Its 2 am Baby, aren’t you coming home a little late?

Perhaps we consigned ourselves to this fate,

I can see through my cockpit glass

The glare of hyper missile blasts

No, it seems mankind was never intended to last

The rush to the grave sites has gotten fast,

Just one warm kiss before the fire and brimstone

It would be sad to face the insanity alone

Just a fireplace to rest my tired bones

Where are the patriotic fires that lit the night?

The Stars and Stripes standing at dawn’s early light
