I was just watching the news over here in Oz lastnight and was absolutely disgusted and gobsmacked by the news of all these CEO's of big company's and even a Judge who lied under oath who has been disgraced, yet he still gets a pension of $200,000 a year even though he may go to prison! The CEO's are getting even more, the Telstra CEO, an American (not that I have anything against Americans) who is leaving, is getting a $3000,000 hand shake when he leaves, yet Telstra share dividends won't be very healthy, like most other dividends around, and that's only the tip of the iceberg!
If we the whole world are in such an economic crisis as everyone makes out we are, why on Earth don't the rest of the governments see it as being wrong, and downright illegal even, that only a handful of people own and control all the worldly wealth? Now if all of THOSE people could start helping the folk who have nothing, that would be really something! But pigs will fly before that ever happens! All the time it is left to us little folk who aren't earning much, to dig deep into our pockets to try and help from the goodness of our hearts, the people less fortunate than ourselves, but now the times are getting even tougher for us too, soon WE will be the new poor. Time for those Shiny-asses if you'll excuse the expression :) to start giving away some of their ridiculous wealth to those who REALLY need it and get all our world economies back on track again!
