When the truth is burning down
And your dictator wears a senile frown
You know you government is full of clowns
Spirits emerging from burial mounds!

When the liars are far too near

Your supposed leaders creating a fantasy
Your world becomes a menagerie,

The lies are uttered so conveniently
My pain means nothing and that's the key

I used to think spouses gave a damn
Green eggs and ham

They never arrested the "Son of Sam",
