As if the world were not full enough of media lies and disinformation, wars, and rumors of wars there comes a question that is important because it involves all of our American forests, park systems, game preserves, and other state and federal designated natural recreational areas. The people expect to go into these areas with a reasonable assurance of safety. But, with the disappearances of dozens of people each month while out in the wilderness could this be somehow related to “Bigfoot”, “Sasquatch”, or “Sabe”? The numerous sightings, forensic evidence, and now even DNA evidence of an upright walking hominid genetically related to man, but different being discovered by science has cast room for doubt.

A professor takes a risk

Doctor Grover Sanders Krantz, noted anthropologist and later cryptozoologist at Washington State University was the first major figure in academia to acknowledge the possibility that Sasquatch did indeed exist. Theorizing confidently that in the Pacific Northwest alone there could be enough hidden acreage and food resources to support up to 1,200 of these creatures, but Krantz held his speculation to the American Bigfoot being related to a huge primate on the Asian continent, a jungle gorilla standing some 10 to 12 feet tall, Gigantopithecus. In Krantz’s estimation, the species could have come across the Aleutian Island chain at a time when the ocean had receded from the elevation of that landmass at a time when other animals and even mankind crossed the northern Pacific to reach the North American continent.

They outclass man

However, there’s a problem with limiting the explanation of a giant man-like primate to simply being a product of past fossilized evidence assumed to have been extinct thanks to ancient man hunting them down and exterminating those left in Asia as the others escaped on foot across the Aleutian Island chain. Observers and eye witnesses have seen super natural occurrences associated with Sasquatch. They are usually nocturnal with excellent night vision and according to one US Army Ranger Reconnaissance officer they are so superior in their terrain movement that even with modern thermal sensors, eye wear, and GPS location capability, the Sasquatch easily out matches mankind and simply cannot be tracked. Most encounters are completely accidental. In the midst of the Fouke Monster of Arkansas sensation in the mid 1970’s, another US Army survival expert showed how common plant vegetation in the immediate area could easily sustain a creature of tremendous size. Recently in the swamps of southern Louisiana a record black bear with height of 6 foot 3 inches and weighing over 700 pounds was killed after it had been predating a farmer’s cattle and pigs while terrifying local residents.

First encounters

For perhaps since the discovery of the North American continent in the time of the Vikings, when Leif Ericson wrote of gigantic hairy human beings near the coast of modern day Nova Scotia as well as stories of encounters between pioneers in the old west, Sasquatch has been in contact with human civilization for centuries. However, with most people equipped with cell phone cameras, trail cam recorders, drones with cameras, and other surveillance technology the evidence seems to be coming in even though many photos are unclear or hard to decipher. Eye witness accounts have been from startling and unexpected to sometimes life threatening. There have been many disturbing cases of inexplicable human disappearances in areas that have frequent Bigfoot sightings reported. Are the two related? Does this attribute Sasquatch predation, territorial defense, or abduction of children who substitute as a lost children of the Sabe or perhaps as a sexual captive of human women?

Motives?

Why would the US government be in full blown denial of the existence of Sasquatch when Washington State acknowledges Bigfoot as a native wildlife creature? When many motorists report seeing large upright hair covered hominids crossing a stretch of road in two strides having become an almost common event, this cannot go on being ignored. Why would the government refuse to acknowledge these creatures when much statistical analysis is recorded about the forest, its animals, and even incidents of deaths by hikers, hunters, fishermen, and campers even being investigated by federal agents who have refused to divulge certain cases to former law enforcement officer, David Paulides. Well known for his “411 Disappearances” Book series, Paulides has attempted to help some families who have lost loved ones who simply vanished off the face of the earth even though they were fit, experienced woodsmen, or well-armed hunters who knew their surroundings well.

Theory 1)

One explanation leads to the budgetary aspects of the park system that if it was acknowledged that Bigfoot did, in fact, exist, this could lead to people considering it too risky to go camping out in the woods and that any future disappearances could be automatically attributed to the actions of an aggressive Sasquatch. Chances are it could hurt business and revenues.

Theory 2)

Perhaps a frenzy of hunters all trying to collect a trophy kill of a Sasquatch for fame and fortune causing an unsafe environment for those recreational users could be another reason. The safety factor could be of concern. This would certainly make normal park security more of a demand as there is already a shortage of park rangers and game wardens who must cover thousands of square acres of natural terrain.

Theory 3)

If the government were to officially acknowledge Sasquatch as a race related to humans and thus having territorial rights, existential rights, and legal protection as a species, this could affect the timber industry, human land development and encroachment, along with government efforts and money to protect Sasquatch as a species from extinction. Think about it. This could become a complex argument requiring money and resources that the government is not prepared to expend.

Theory 4)

Yet, because of the seeming supernatural feats of strength, speed, and even the ability to defy gravity when some individuals have been observed being able to scale an impossibly steep rock face where no human climber with equipment could succeed. Other investigators are convinced of another scenario. The Biblical mention of the Nephilim, the giants who were from Satan’s angels fallen to earth, mating with human women, and creating a race of creatures destined to live in seclusion from normal civilization. Some people who have had terrifying encounters with Sabe, Bigfoot, or Sasquatch have invoked the name of Jesus in order to vanquish them just as an exorcism would liberate a possessed person from a demon, and it worked.

Theory 5)

Because of the association of Sasquatch with nocturnal lights, UFO’s, extradimensional portholes, an extraterrestrial scenario has been added as yet, another possibility. Perhaps, some have theorized, Sasquatch was a genetically engineered laborer who could master any terrain and possessed great strength and a capacity for hard work. The film of one of these specimens being able to lift a tree from the bottom and fling it into the air had one scientist making engineering estimates of the forces of pressure and foot pounds in attempting to define just what kind of strength the creature in the film would have had to have in order to possess such strength. In some reports the witness has seen Sasquatch disappear right before their eyes or become semi-translucent as if using some kind of light deflection camouflage.

Conclusion

For the federal government to continue denying the existence of Bigfoot while even using the scientific establishment to deny genetic proof requires an intentional motive, and most of us already know there are things we have been misled over, hidden history that has been used to hide the truth, missing persons whose files remain hidden in the possession of federal agents, and there seems no end to the subtle cover-up that has remained in place for decades.
