Ps, I have discovered that it is better to consider buying remote land as a get-away than say buying a new large motor home to escape town. I know people who have done both, and if circumstances change, land costing the same amount can sell quickly and usually provide a nice tax free profit at the same time.

It's time to move into the sticks and go to the middle of nowhere, where they can't, or it's to costly, to reach - if you don't want to be fried. I hope everyones got their retreat location in order. ( purchase of abandoned land is cheap, and so are relocatable homes if you needed one, so go for it )
