Worshipped and Maligned
Worshipped and Maligned
I am the Universal Mind
Making the search for truth hard to find
I'll leave breadcrumbs as a sign
It will be a journey that won't be kind,
I'm the Universal Mind don't even intellectualize
Or compare yourselves to my size
I'm the Universal Mind
Far above the daily grind,
You'll never reach me in a space ship
The Tower of Babel or an acid trip
Because I'm the Universal Mind
I can bestow sight upon the blind,
You might think me rather unkind
Just Because I'm the Universal Mind
Leaving you to dig for all the signs
When will our consciousness combine?
Don't you see I'm the Universal Mind
The game is played on my time
I give you little reason or rhyme
Because I'm the Universal Mind,
I'll let you suffer from the evil one
I'll break you into accepting that I'm number one
Because I'm the Universal Mind
I'm incomprehensible you might find,
I delivered you into a world of bitter rind
I'll make sure you have to toil and climb
Because I'm the Universal Mind
I'm worshipped and maligned,
You might find the universe a bit unkind
Because I made it I'm the Universal Mind
To you the riddles and puzzles will be consigned
I'll make it so you can never unwind!
Because I'm the Universal Mind
More knowing and infinite than all of mankind
All the cruelty and injustice your fault not mine
Because I'm the Universal Mind!
