 Reference : Summertime

 The warm weather has finally arrived.   We want everyone to enjoy the summertime and we ask that you keep a few things in mind.

 First, we want to ask all of parents to please supervise your children while outside.  Over the last week there has been some damage done to our landscaping, for example children pulling out the flowers and kicking mulch all over the sidewalk.   If your child is caught damaging the property (landscaping) you will be charged for the cleanup and replacement of any items destroyed.  Also, when children are riding bikes and scooters please have them be mindful of others who may be walking down the sidewalk.  We have already had an issue where someone was nearly knocked down by a child on a scooter.  Please explain to your child that we need to share the space on the sidewalks.

Secondly,  please be mindful of your neighbor's space.  We have received several complaints concerning toys, trash and other items being left on the patios and breezeways.   We are trying to help clean up our property and we ask everyone to do their part.  Please keep your patio area neat, do not leave trash, cigerette butts lying outside.  Also remember that grills are not allowed on the patio.

Lastly, we have observed too many residents not following the rules and regulations concerning their animals.   It is a Virginia State Law to have your animals on a leash at all times when outside.    If we see an animal outside without a leash we will call animal control.  Also if you seen not cleaning up after your animals you will be fined.  All animal droppings must be cleaned up immediately.
