Scrutinizer Science Project #54:
Capture a common house fly, dunk it in a paper cup full of water...keep on dunking it until you drown it dead (hint: it takes a bit of effort and about 10-15 minutes)
After your completely sure the fly's dead, IE: doesnt move, legs curled up under it, carefully extract the fly out of the water w/out damaging it.
place drowned fly on to a paper towel, and pour just enough regular table salt to cover it up completely.
wait about 10 minutes or so and watch what ensues.....
