Zionism is a political belief system which:

Supports stealing land from Palestinians, racial purity and superiority (Zionism is fundamentally racist), ethnic cleansing (cannot see a Palestinian as a human being), Gaza is basically a concentration camp (These people are deprived of their basic human rights, they cannot leave the place.), uses lies and manipulation to gather support (Hasbara), imposes the Dahiya Doctrine (state terrorism against the Palestinians) and today Israel is the most militarized nation in the world paid for by mostly the US.  (Militarization is built into the everyday life of every Israeli in an all-pervading manner that would be unthinkable anywhere else on earth.)

This is not the same as supporting Jewish people having their own land.  Disliking Zionism, which is basically Nazism on steroids, is not disliking Jewish people.
