It does remind me of some of the BBC political shows of the past 20 years, edgy enough to wave a pointy stick around, but never pokes the wasp nest too much.

I noted some comments on these videos that stated that Spang is a 'mainstream comedian' - so finger pointing and a safety valve - which seems to be a typical use of state approved and financed TV 'edgy comedians these days in any country.

Have in mind LP he is just a dog on a leash from state media to make the illusion of freedom of speech and i question his so-called Danish roots.

Personally i don't like Spang or Peter the Norwegian Swede. Yet, one can't deny some good points.  

The show is far from the norm but then again we are a small country so basically everything produced and broadcast here is an imitation from most mostly the english speaking world where ever it might be, but usually UK, US or CA.

Another aspect is it's still State tax funded media and history wise Scandinavia, NL, US, DE, CA and UK is very connected.

The fact that Jonatan Spang can make a classical allusion to Plato's Cave says a lot about him and the Danish audience.

@Old Denmark - as our resident Dane, is Täd På Sanheten typical of the tv shows and feeling in Denmark, or is Spang just a based guy trying to wake Scandinavian folks up?

Spang nails the look and the vibe of the typical Swedish cop show - which are also chock full of political correctness.
