WEST JORDAN, Utah — A Utah family knows they only have a limited amount of time with their son and they’re determined to make the best of it.

Ethan van Leuven, 4, is fighting for each day of his life.

When Ethan was just 22 months old, he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

After years of treatment, his family learned last week that Ethan’s fight is coming to an end.

Knowing time is running out, the van Leuven family wanted their last days with Ethan to be filled with joy — so they are celebrating a week of holidays.

First up, Halloween!

It’s a big celebration for a little boy who has always been a superhero in his parents’ eyes.
