Again, this is why we need to direct our collective energy into taking back the public airways.  We need to do the job that the news media is supposed to be doing.  We need to do it better than they do it. And we need to do it right in their face.

Set up card tables outside their news studios, on the sidewalk or in an adjacent park, and do the news.  Cover the real news.  Cover the stories that they cover, but actually expose the truth about the story.  Engage in real investigative journalism.  Do this right outside their buildings and do it very well.  Employ volunteers who are intelligent, well spoken and up on current events.  Make the mainstream media look like @$$-clowns.  And the public will see them for what they really are. 

The public needs a point of comparison.  If you show people, amateurs, students, volunteers, actually doing the real news in a real way, then they will see the fake news for what it really is.  They will have something to which to compare it.

Brian Williams is just the tip of the mainstream media long list of liars iceberg. So when a big network journalist who is oh so smug (see the video above where he mocks citizen journalists) gets caught in a huge lie, that is quite a big deal. And yeah, the guy in the White House lies to us too.
