1:09:00 introduction to the "Peer Gynt Suite" (Edvard Grieg)
"Next we play the last movement of the "Peer Gynt Suite" which is supposed to be the best known piece of the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg. It's a pretty complex piece, it starts very slowly and developes to a highly virtuosic, fast piece. It challenges me every evening to play it. I especially love this type of music. I hope you can enjoy it right as much as I will do on stage. Thank you."
