"Daniel Butcher is the Assistant U.S. Attorney that filed a response to temporary restraining order (TRO) obtained by Ares Armor against the ATF. He filed the response with federal magistrate judge Bernard G. Skomal, who allowed the raid to proceed.
Butcher conveniently “forgets” that the 80% lower receivers stocked and sold by Ares Armor are not generally considered firearms, according to the ATF’s own determination letters sent to numerous manufacturers over the years. As 80% receivers are not firearms, they are therefore not subject to the ATF’s jurisdiction.
Nor does he mention that the ATF’s claim that EP Armory’s 80% receivers are manufactured differently hasn’t been proven even once by the agency."
Sorry gang, they operate with impunity. D.O.J. leader Eric "dick" Holder will not even acknowledge that ATF was even on the property. "Gee, musta been someone else, cause it wasn't us". A lawsuit will be handled in the same fashion as was " Fast and Furious", and we all know how well that worked out....snark, snark...
This is ridiculous! Nothing they find should be allowed as evidence due to their failure to obey the TRO. I hope the judge throws the book at them.
I watched 3 other videos of the jack boot thieves raiding the store. They use a sledge hammer to open the safe behind a door so couldn't tell what they were stealing out of it. I assume they probably pocketed some cash almongst other things. This act by the atf was nothing short of burglary and theft and charges should be brought against them. Its time to be rid of the atf along with other groups that take after them, like home land security, tsa, etc.

Despite being granted a restraining order, the ATF has apparently raided San Diego area firearms parts seller Ares Armor anyway. Ares sells 80% lowers which the ATF has classified as "firearms." The ATF has been pressuring Ares to turn over their sales records or lose them in a raid. Given the threats, earlier this week Ares moved for and was granted a restraining order against such a raid. But the above YouTube video appears to show ATF agents rummaging through Ares, apparently confiscating inventory and, you'd have to assume, their computers and customers records.
"In anticipation of a raid, they filed a temporary restraining order against the ATF, stopping them from confiscating their property, Karras said. The ATF has a certain amount of time to respond. If the two parties do not reach a compromise, they will be in court for a preliminary hearing March 20."
