Commercially produced rice is sprayed with a significant load of pesticides that end up in your food. It's practically impossible to remove the pesticides. Flushing with water takes out some. Therefore it is interesting to grow your own. This video shows how rice can grow wild without much effort. You just sow the seeds and let it grow. No fuss about the weeds, herbicides or anything. You don't have to harvest all the crop, just what you need. Leave the rest of the crop as seeds for the next time.

Yes couldnt be much easier and there must be at least 30.000-40.000 species of rice so there must be one there can grow near you unless living at the poles.
