When I lived down in FL many moons ago, it got hit with 5 hurricanes during the season. It was a bad year and I just happened to be living there with my family at the time, good times. Two of the hurricanes we're pretty intense, level 2 and 3's, but instead of getting all freaked out about it, we partied it up instead. We figured, what the hell, if we all get swept away in this thing we might as well go out with a smile on our face, lol. Getting our power knocked out for a couple of weeks wasn't too pleasant though, not with it being so damn hot as it was. Thankfully we had good friends that took care of us during the storm. They had a generator which is a must have if you live in hurricane zones. 

 

People really do come together when these disasters happen I might add. Communities have time and time built themselves back up after these hurricanes roll through. There's no sense in counting on the Govt to do anything. Look how effective they were with Katrina. It's a damn shame.

This is hilarious, lol. I love when the reporter asked the one lady what she was doing  and she said I'm getting drunk tonight, ha ha..... priceless.
