Hey Parr it could be one of those crash and rob scams too ,a woman or anyone should be allowed to fear for their safety in this day and age, she didn't know if it was a set up or he was just negligent, either way I bet he stops at the next red light.

If the vehicle had stopped, the headline would be "Whiny Jackass on bike gets hit after he runs red light into oncoming traffic".  Not that it was okay for the driver to keep going, but I can understand that they are sick of seeing bicyclists do this kind of shit all the time.  Cyclists around here seem to think the traffic laws (stop signs, red lights, yield signs) don't apply to them.  There are bike lanes, but they ride on the sidewalks.  They ride several abreast and block the road so cars can't get by them.  They're such an entitled bunch of assholes that they believe that cars must yield to them no matter what they do.  That biker is 29 years old, should grow up, stop acting like a victim and take responsibility for the accident which only happened because of his actions.  The councilwoman should sue him for mental distress, which is why she left the scene of the accident.

I'm sorry but this guy is/was at fault, she might have had to take a dump  or some other important mission but she should not have her life disrupted because of a DUMBASS WHO RAN A RED LIGHT bike boy won the stupid prize for his stupid IRRESPONSIBLE  DANGEROUS BIKE RIDING. hE CAUSED THIS SO ONLY HE SHOULD SUFFER,ME I WOULD HaVe STOPPED TO MAKE THIS MORON PAY FOR THE DAMAGE HE CAUSED TO MY CAR. Until we quit protecting darwin candidates we will not clean up the gene pool.
