In short; the Russian air force was tricked to shoot air to air missile towards an American stealth plane entering into Russian air space. When the missile was launched the pilot assumed that the target was eliminated and reported it accordingly. Those in power then blew up KAL007 with a bomb controlled by radio signal. It was all carefully planned and implemented; the bomb installed, airliners navigation system tampered with, stealth airplane used to trick the Russians, to kill Larry P. McDonald.
I believe the disappeared Malaysian airliner is another example of similar operation.
