Hear Ya!  (And on all the other stuff Ya posted-too!).  Being of a 'certain age', my short term memory is going/gone.  But the strangest thing- whenever I hear a tune that strikes a personal chord- I can remember where I was and what I was doing when I first heard it!

Music is the only thing that does that- for me- got any info on why that is?

Yeah - I don't think there's too many others, who could have pulled off doing that song (cover) other than Michael MacDonald.

I just saw Steely Dan live in a huge performing arts theater in Appleton, WI last week. It was fricken awesome!!! It was the best show I've ever seen live!

Michael MacDonald!  That VOICE! (I'd give my left ball to have a set of pipes like that!) And Steely Dan! (In spite of these guys all being very accomplished musicians......It's the vocals that draw and capture the attention!  They are unique- there is no one else like them!

Sometimes- when I have visitors here, and I got Michael or Steely Dan on the box. And when I ask my visitors if they know who's playing?  And ALL of them know!  (And bear in mind:  most of these visitors are half my age!)

And who was it, who once said:  "Rock n Roll will never be revalent"............

Much love to ya PH!

A great way to transition into slumber... listening to tasty tunes by real musicians that really care about the craft of song writing.
