Samuel Adams: “It is always dangerous to the liberties of the people to have an army stationed among them, over which they have no control … The Militia is composed of free Citizens. There is therefore no danger of their making use of their Power to the destruction of their own Rights, or suffering others to invade them.”

Tench Coxe: “Who are the militia? are they not ourselves. Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man against his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birth-right of an American…The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people.”

Notice the year on this next quote, and what the demand was for. It didn't take long did it?

The United States should get rid of its militias”. Joseph Stalin, 1933

In Silveira v. Lockyer, 328 F.3d 567 (2003), Judge Alex Kozinski of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals reminded us that the Second Amendment is not about duck hunting: "All too many of the other great tragedies of history - Stalin's atrocities, the killing fields of Cambodia, the Holocaust, to name but a few - were perpetrated by armed troops against unarmed populations. Many could well have been avoided or mitigated, had the perpetrators known their intended victims were equipped with a rifle and twenty bullets apiece, as the Militia Act required here. ... If a few hundred Jewish fighters in the Warsaw Ghetto could hold off the Wehrmacht for almost a month with only a handful of weapons, six million Jews armed with rifles could not so easily have been herded into cattle cars.
"My excellent colleagues have forgotten these bitter lessons of history. The prospect of tyranny may not grab the headlines the way vivid stories of gun crime routinely do. But few saw the Third Reich coming until it was too late. The Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed for those exceptionally rare circumstances where all other rights have failed - where the government refuses to stand for re-election and silences those who protest; where courts have lost the courage to oppose, or can find no one to enforce their decrees. However improbable these contingencies may seem today, facing them unprepared is a mistake a free people get to make only once.
"Fortunately, the Framers were wise enough to entrench the right of the people to keep and bear arms within our constitutional structure. The purpose and importance of that right was still fresh in their minds, and they spelled it out clearly so it would not be forgotten
." Judge Alex Kozinski

The forefathers wouldn't put the militia under federal control as there was always a chance that those in office would turn traitorous against the people. They already had learned, and history taught – then and now, that people in places of power could not be trusted. So they broke it up; the people ARE the militia and would keep the best interests of the people themselves at the forefront of all decisions made. Then they assigned the duty of organizing, arming, and disciplining each state's militia to the federal congress; and to each state the appointment of their Militia's officers and their training; all under Article I, Section. 8, Clause 16.

George Mason: “When the resolution of enslaving America was formed in Great Britain, the British Parliament was advised by an artful man, who was governor of Pennsylvania, to disarm the people; that it was the best and most effectual way to enslave them; but that they should not do it openly, but weaken them, and let them sink gradually, by totally disusing and neglecting the militia.”

And “That the people have a Right to mass and to bear arms; that a well regulated militia composed of the Body of the people, trained to arms, is the proper natural and safe defense of a free State.”

George Mason, Co-author of the Second Amendment during Virginia’s Convention to Ratify the Constitution, 1788: “I ask, Sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people except for a few public officials. To disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them.”

Thomas Cooley: “The right is general. It may be supposed from the phraseology of this provision that the right to keep and bear arms was only guaranteed to the militia; but this would be an interpretation not warranted by the intent. The militia, as has been explained elsewhere, consists of those persons who, under the law, are liable to the performance of military duty, and are officered and enrolled for service when called upon. . . . If the right were limited to those enrolled, the purpose of the guarantee might be defeated altogether by the action or the neglect to act of the government it was meant to hold in check. The meaning of the provision undoubtedly is, that the people, from whom the militia must be taken, shall have the right to keep and bear arms, and they need no permission or regulation of law for that purpose”.

The US Constitution and all that is “in Pursuance thereof” it, as the supreme (highest) law of this land in the areas where it has jurisdiction says that “We” (as the Militia of the several states) are personally responsible for maintaining and protecting the US Constitution, each state's Constitution, and seeing to their enforcement against ALL foes - domestic and foreign. “We” are the ones responsible for enforcing the laws of this land, and are charged with it's defense plus the defense of our homes, neighborhoods, cities, counties, states, and country.

It says it here within the Constitution of the United States of America:

US Constitution, Article I, Section. 8, Clause 11:To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water”.

This is using private citizens in their own privately owned crafts to defend the USA and her people, this is using the Militia.

Clause 15 requires of the congress: To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and REPEL INVASIONS”.

This clause is very straightforward also. The militia of each state is taxed with the defense of the USA and her people, not just with the defense of their state; and they are to be armed with weapons that can repel any invasions bearing modern weapons of war. Congress is required to provide those military grade weapons for the militias. The “suppress Insurrections” includes those who are our representatives who are working against the USA and her people.

Clause 16: To provide for organizing, ARMING, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress”.

Constitutional Convention is bad right now.  WE do NOT have 2/3's states that are following the US Constitution, nor their OWN Constitution's right now.  So who do you think is behind this?  Those trying to change the USA and the US Constitution from within , only they are now also hitting us on that front also.

They always make it seem as if it is a good thing, like "for our safety", etc.  Now this Constitutional Convention was NOT brought up or is being pushed by thsoe who really stand for the US Constitution.

Plus daboo is incorrect when he says it gives the states the power - they ALREADY Constitutionally have the power, as do we.  It is just not being exercised.

Please fight this as it will be turning our nation over to the NWO without a fight if we do not. Verify who started this and you will see.  Verify that we do NOT have 2/3rds of the states enforcing the US Constitution or their own Constitution - and you trust them to change our US Constitution.

NOT until we get them all, or at least most, following and upholding the US Constitution and their own state Constitutions.

Get the Militias of the several states going so that WE can LAWFULLY Enforce the US Constitution and each state's Constitution, Enforce and keep the “Laws of the Union” (which is constitutional laws ONLY), Protect the country against all enemies both domestic and foreign, andto suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions”.
