So true Lauren. It's esp high stakes for the pharmaceutical industry. The USA and New Zealand are the only countries that have direct-to-consumer ads for drugs and it has been very profitable for them.

Lauren, thanks for breaking it down. Just shows how all ads/commercials are full of subliminal messages. We laugh at what appears to be just a silly commercial but they have cleverly implanted their messages into our subconscious brains. TV commercials are very expensive and they want to get the most bang for their buck so every detail is well thought out. In some countries that are not as censored as much as the USA, the message is sometimes no longer subliminal, it's just blatant. Example:
