Though he possessed enough wealth and power to own dozens of palaces, Gaddafi by many accounts preferred to live in a Bedouin tent pitched near his family home outside of Tripoli. This living arrangement extended to his trips abroad; he pitched his tent during state visits to Rome, Paris and Doha, Qatar, where he met with Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez in March 2009, above. His requests to erect a tent during his visit to the U.S. to address the U.N. General Assembly — first for a spot in Central Park, then for a site near Libya's mission to the U.N. in Englewood, N.J. — were denied.

Just for the record it never crossed my mind to make money from my footage, after a short while i posted them on youtube ,youtube deemed them too graphic so banned me,then they changed the policy, so opened i up another channel, i watermarked some to see were they went , some still ended up in on-line papers. I had a passion for Libya ............ still do.

I had requests from CNN, ABC, CBS,  France 24 and other news corporations for my Original footage of the revolution , even had a guy ring me from Tel Aviv wanting to represent me as my agent ( taking 33% of course) i had numerous arguments with Editors and journalists regarding my footage , I would only allow them to use it with unbiased reporting, i had a piece sent to me from rebels from the mountains of Nafusa , the Nafusa rebels had commandeered a regime cargo plane and had built a runway and was ready to use it,  My point to the Editor was "you can use the footage under the understanding that you make the point that the no fly zone applies to both regime AND rebels " he was the most arrogant, ignorant European Editor of a very well known US news corporation , it felt good for me to make that condition , my point against such biased reporting , reporting that manipulated so many peoples minds . Needless to he didn't get it.

Great video thanks Patriot .. i looked for a good tribute to Gaddafi a while back and couldn't find one .. He lived life to its fullest and was a true revolutionary true to his word , he warned his brothers of the Arab world that they could be next .. i hate what they did to him but he was a soldier himself and fought to the end .. i am sure he is in Paradise .. He didn't hide in the shadows and spoke truth to power ..

Gaddafi lived before he died~ R.I.P.
