actually Vernon, you could free range chicken and cattle on the same land..just seperate them and rotate them...it also is good for the soil.

actually my father in law has land that he leases out to rancher to range their cattle. Chickens are doable and raised chickens are much better than store bought carcasses. He's been thinking of stocking his pond with catfish.
