Before she died this year, my mom worked with NIH and headed the department of Biochemistry at UC Boulder. She was invited to an international panel discussion to plan inter-governmental responses to a flu pandemic. Their recommendations?
1. Stay home.
2. Get plenty of rest.
3. Drink lots of fluids.
