The common core is designed to confuse the students so that even simple tasks become complicated and difficult. In the rapidly approaching decadent society the facts and science don't matter. The rulers seem to prefer an ignorant and confused population that is completely dependent on the state. People are expected to parrot politically correct answers and indoctrinated opinions to each others. It seems we are now in the final stages of dumbing down the population which is a prerequisite for the final controlled stampede of the confused human flock, straight to a bloodbath.
