You clearly don't understand the concept of free will, to believe that there is no free will in the matrix is a position that you chosen to take. No one can make you choose otherwise.

As bad as the manipulation is to control our perception, in the end we are personally responsible for the outcome. It doesn't matter how many external choices we are presented with, the one thing that the hierarchy of control cannot manipulate is free will, which is an internal choice. We have the free will to choose to submit to the external controls or we can choose to look inward and become our own masters of our realities. The more we choose to depend on external controls to guide us or save us, the more our free will diminishes,  on the contrary, the more we depend on our selves for salvation, the more our free will increases.

Most societies has been playing their populations for about 1000 years or more in order to have the same old bloodlines running the show. Most people has slave DNA they simply immitate what others are doing in order to feel 'normal' even though it's far from normal being imprinted specific behavior from birth. 

There's also a reason why the Americas is often mentioned as the 'new project' or 'project Americas' in old European literature and already in the 1700's plans of having a global currency in Platinum was widely discussed across the western world along with Russia, since they would provide all the Platinum for the mint.
