Thats the bad news.

The good news is that the masses are ready for the change.  They are trainned to act when command words are used, or certain power symbols are displayed.  Revolutionarys can use these methods to steer and control the masses, just as their de facto master do at this time.  All that needs to be done is to sweep away the elites (1%ers) henchmen out of the legislature by the use of votes and popular democracy via a monolithic, populist political party.  The only way to take over the government is by means of peace, and that means is ballot boxes and truthful propaganda.

Once this supposed Nationalist party takes over the government, it can ween the masses off of money, and replace the babylonian money system with a scientific distibution system, and a resource management policy that ballances the needs of the masses with the raw materials that can be exploited localy.

All this populist party needs to take care of is to not interupt the professional football, baseball or basketball seasons, and to insure an uninterupted supply of beer and dope. 

I think that the young would have a mind more open to these idea, and I would start the indoctrination and propagation of these novel and revolutionary ideas with them.
