Are our votes counted as, the content is awful, or is the article presented in and of itself awful? I think that is stopping people from voting either way. You want to say it is awful it happened, not awful the person posting it has bad taste...It is what it is, either way and a variety helps give other perspectives than the one you create for yourself, right? So, if I vote down it means that I don't like that it happened, not that I am sorry someone posted it...Hope that is right...
