After my divorce more than 10 years ago from a woman who could not fall asleep without the TV on, I haven't owned one! Also, I quit smoking and she did not, rest her soul.

i read a book/ called the 4 arguments for the elimination of television by a man named Jerry Mander .. it changed my life, until people understand how we are not only influenced and being moulded, hypnotized and actually mind controlled/they will/never understand that we are being lied to all the time .. i still have a TV its old and so its not the HD kind and i think i will miss it when it dies but its like a drug its been there all/my life, i do not watch programming any more i feel/ like i am preparing myself for when it finally goes. I have sworn to myself i will not buy a new one. I check in to see what lies are being fed to the people and all it does is piss me off . I should cancel it now and kick it to the curb. It kept me company for many years and made me feel like i was not alone many times but i truly think now its one of the most dangerous elements in society to date! I do not know why the damn thing is still going it must have been made on a Monday.
