I thought that I would start this discussion for some more "quantifying" numbers about this problem...which should help identify a solution(s). It all started with Cop15 produces massive carbon footprint that (among other things) I found quite funny :)
Yes, it would be good to know how much CO2 each human being generates every day. There would have to be an averaging formula for men, women and children so the population of a country could be multiplied by pounds-of-CO2 per day to give us the "quantifying" numbers to work with as the numbers stated now are just for "industrial production and tranportation."
