Matt Cutts, Google’s head of search spam, posted a video today about duplicate content and the repercussions of it within Google’s search results.
Matt said that somewhere between 25% to 30% of the content on the web is duplicative. Of all the web pages and content across the internet, over one-quarter of it is repetitive or duplicative.
But Cutts says you don’t have to worry about it. Google doesn’t treat duplicate content as spam. It is true that Google only wants to show one of those pages in their search results, which may feel like a penalty if your content is not chosen — but it is not.
Google takes all the duplicates and groups them into a cluster. Then Google will show the best of the results in that cluster.
Matt Cutts did say Google does reserve the right to penalize a site that is excessively duplicating content, in a manipulative manner. But overall, duplicate content is normal and not spam.

Gruesome slaughterhouse of Christians -> top position 1st page

Hey main, meant to ask, google has deindexed us, what can I do to fix it?
Every day I get request to remove links to other sites because our site now lowers other sites rank for some reason.

Tried to learn SEO but gave up
Search engines often use the number of backlinks that a website has as one of the most important factors for determining that website's search engine ranking, popularity and importance. (PageRank of site * number of sites) backlinks -> SEO value ?
(My site was high (PR) till I put different content and two languages on it)
There may be a reason why MSM sites don't have much live links to outside sources? The one thing I learned was to create many links within site and asking for backlinks.

I checked infowars.com -> 356 (as expected), zerohedge.com --> 589, and naturalnews.com -> 703 (that is impressive. WRH is moderately successful -> 7061)

THX! I believe our issue is: we had the 12160info domain name suspended last year by our registrar.
our real url name is http://snardfarker.ning.com/ and for a while google indexed both domains while we switched it around . damn we were really big in google previously too.

Alexa has been compromised. Any site that has anything to do with independent media has had their ranking fudged downward, while MSM sites have been falsely rigged higher. There's an article about this, on this site that confirms this. (don't remember the title) but if someone knows where it is please post link. I've independently verified this psy-op myself reveiwing Alexa graphs.
