Annual Global Marijuana March
Thank you everyone who had the balls to get out for the global marijuana march on March 7 2011. In Calgary our march was good, with a well known speaker, who made what seemed to me, rehashed topics and news. I received a T-shirt and a pack of rolling papers. We were met with many police offices that stopped traffic and caused no grief to myself or my fellow marchers.
The biggest surprise to me was the lack of cannabis at the event. I mean, I had seen no one light up. WTF man? I was even more surprised when I was sitting on a ledge for a rest. I pulled out a pipe and loaded it with my best Chara. There were police to my left and police to my right. They looked and said nothing. I was however approached, by an "organizer" and asked not to publicly smoke, because "that is not what we were about" I am still trying to rap my head around that one. Anyways, I DID proceed to smoke my fine bowl, and as did so, was thinking back to the sixties when people were not afraid to publicly display cannabis. I posted the video on my website.

I went home and got on my computer. I had noticed that someone had posted the Toronto Freedom March on YouTube. I watched it and I have to say, Toronto you guys rock! Now that was a march..... you can view it here

Yes and No. It was more on the legal issues relating to cannabis consumption and changing the minds of governments. Which, in my opinion stems from tyranny. "Getting stoned" are words which can be interpreted the wrong way. If you would regard cancer, MS, AIDS patients, wheelchair bound citizens that were exercising human rights and freedoms as human beings. If you regard these people with any less dignity than you would expect for yourself, then OH YES, we all got stoned and briefly forgot about people like you. I will not waste a moment with you debating your moral issues, or why you would even be in a forum and claiming to address the coming New World Order. Perhaps you are for a police state. There are forums for supporting that kind of mentality, however I will not post the links here. Try Google. Type Hitler.

My apologies friend, no I do not know your views. I guess I do get a bit vocal....I tire of the stigma...I deal with it every day on this issue and ....well.....part of the reason I built calgarycmmc.com was so I wouldn't have to argue so much....with people...I got red hair...what can I say?....peace?
