Oh, wait.  It seems that I have to put the code on a different page and THEN it shows up.  Wow.  How bleeding complicated is THAT!

It shouldn't have to be on a different page. It's there but you only see the outline of it until you post it.

It didn't show up when I posted.  I tried "old code" when the the first didn't work, I tried tried with and without the "other vid at end" option.  Kept editing and editing.  Then I poste to the Vid tab and POOF!  There it was.

I've never had to edit anything and I've posted hundreds of videos. Just copy the embed code as is and paste it. You must click HTML FIRST, then paste it in the HTML format, click HTML again and you will see a yellow or black outline. When you click ADD COMMENT or ADD BLOG or ADD DISCUSSION, the video will appear.

Yup.  That's what I did. HTML, past embed code, saw the outline and everything.  Hit the add button and there was a big gray area where the vid should be.  Well, it's up now.  [shrug]  It's all good.

Was there any message in the gray area? Just asking because I want to keep track of all problems associated with posting videos. Sometimes YouTube or Ning will make a change in their software and we have to work around it.

Nope.  Just a wide space, vid-sized, between text lines, where the vid should be.
