Carrying on from my previous post (Link), I wanted to expand on a particular issue.
Some writers are portraying Donald Trump as a Dark Horse who is in the race to hand off a split vote to Hillary ... or Joe if Hillary were arrested and charged regarding various issues.
Sounds like juicy speculation and gossip designed to panic/herd voters to another direction.
So let's look at some clear logic and apply that to the situation we know.
1) Trump announces candidacy.
What Donald stand to gain?
i) Power? If he can literally 'command' Hillary to show up at his wedding; he has a lot of that
already ... especially amusing that this example (Hillary) would be his opponent in a
presidential race. (Race meaning "contest" ... so the PC sensitive types can relax on that
one.)
ii) Money? The salary of a President, including perks, doesn't come close to Trump's earning
potential with his own business and TV contracts. So logically, Donald will be losing money as
president ... kinda weird for someone who is supposed to be a greedy billionaire!
2) Where would Donald go if he bailed/handed off to the Dems?
i) Back to real estate deals? ... with the reputation of a 'quitter' or 'loser' who didn't make "the
deal" ... Does that sound like the Donald Trump plan in 'The Art of The Deal'?
ii) Back to a TV show? He could ... but given the number of people who believe in his
messages/positions at the candidate's podium; "Celebrity Apprentice" would be impossible
... "Celebrity Pariah" would be more likely ... he couldn't so much as show his face at his
own golf courses without facing scorn and condemnation. Does that sound like something
Donald Trump would set up as a 'successful deal'?
3) Does "The Donald" play to lose?
Hardly ... as an astute businessman he plays to win. He has 10 billion dollars at his command
to prove he does well with that!
Donald Trump's success is tied directly to the success of his countrymen ... he wants to make
America Great Again ... to his benefit and yours ... seems smart to follow a proven leader.
4) Is Donald Trump's brash and combative demeanor a liability?
He hits back when his family is attacked (i.e. The Rosie Situation)
Taking that forward: What kind of Commander in Chief would you prefer? ... one who swiftly
smacks & retaliates against an attacker? ... or one who dithers about how to respond without
'offending' anyone's feelings?
Your choice, America ... and with as few choices as there are left ... choose well!

He's already stated he wouldn't rule out running as an Independent, if he doesn't get the GOP nod.
There's your answer right there. He's a plant.
