The six-pointed Star of David was found all over Khazaria and refers to "our lord David, the Khazar prince" who lived in Taman.  (The Mandgelis Document or Mandgelis Letter was a letter in Hebrew dated AM 4746 (985–986).)  It is a Khazar symbol and is not for King David of the Old Testament.  Khazarians created their own Jewish belief system, including the Talmud, which the Ashkenazis also use.  The Mishna (1st constituent part of the Talmud) incorporated the teachings of the Pharisees.  (What did Jesus call the Pharisees?)  

The Ashkenazi originated in Eastern Europe and the Sephardic Jews originated from areas around the Mediterranean (actual semites).  

Samuel Krauss (Jewish Teacher's Seminary and the Jewish Theological Seminary) and Jewish historian Dr. Benjamin H. Freedman identified the the Ashkenazi as Khazarians.  

They are the Synagogue of Satan and those that pretend to be Jews but are not.
