Facebook Wants Your Gov’t ID! They Already Got Mine.
Facebook is rolling out a new data collection program which forces you to upload your government ID by claiming your account has been tampered with.
Recently, I tried logging on to Facebook using a WIFI mobile broadband wireless. Because I wasn’t logging on from the location I usually logon from Facebook locked out my account, claiming my account was being accessed from a suspicious location. In order to regain access to the account I was forced to upload my government ID to prove my identity. After several days of waiting for a real person to review the ID and verify my identity, my account was finally unlocked.
Since I am public person online, I didn’t mind uploading my id. However, for those very concerned about their privacy – especially in light of recent revelations of the military industrial complex and DHS backed online spy programs – this is a very alarming development.

I've always considered FB just a way to keep connected with friends and family. It should never be used for anything political or controversial because if you use it for that it will just get you censored and/or banned.

guess if I had genuine friends and an actual family I'd still have it, but I was mainly bombarding it in hopes of waking up the "Friends" i had there who were too busy playing mafiafarmVillezockabingowar games to notice...they're loss ;)

I'm so glad that I got off of facebook when I did. I literally had an account for about 2 weeks and got so freaked out that all these acquaintances of mine all of a sudden wanted to befriend me and chitchat about things that I really didn't care to chitchat about. I was running out the FB door, not walking. And it really became like F-Book to me at that point. This all happened about 4 years ago.
The funny thing is, there are so many past and present friends, family members on FB right now that you would think that I would jump and run at the chance to keep in touch by using it but... I just can't bring myself to do it. FB is the epitome of teenagers gone wild but the twist is, most of them are middle aged, egads!!! And then you add in the fact that the CIA really is behind the scenes and Big Brother isn't really being brotherly. He's more like an annoying tag-a-long friend who is ownly friendly when you've got something to offer him or her. It's all nucking futs once again.

Hey folks, Just thought I should let you all know that Facebook is CIA owned and operated. Through another very trusted site that I am a member of we stumbled upon the link and it opened up to the front page of the Central Intelligence Agency, so as a result of that I rarely put anything on it, just say hello to friends still posting there and now most of their posts are bloody photos without any intelligence, - boring. - Oh I see Tara is also aware its CIA backed.
