Nevada Cattle Rancher Wins 'Range War' With Feds

PHOTO: Federal agents clash with armed protestors over a ranchers 20-year tax fight.

A Nevada cattle rancher appears to have won his week-long battle with the federal government over a controversial cattle roundup that had led to the arrest of several protesters.

Cliven Bundy went head to head with the Bureau of Land Management over the removal of hundreds of his cattle from federal land, where the government said they were grazing illegally.

Bundy claims his herd of roughly 900 cattle have grazed on the land along the riverbed near Bunkerville, 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas, since 1870 and threatened a "range war" against the BLM on the Bundy Ranch website after one of his sons was arrested while protesting the removal of the cattle.

"I have no contract with the United States government," Bundy said. "I was paying grazing fees for management and that's what BLM was supposed to be, land managers and they were managing my ranch out of business, so I refused to pay."

The federal government had countered that Bundy "owes the American people in excess of $1 million " in unpaid grazing fees and "refuses to abide by the law of land, despite many opportunities over the last 20 years to do so."

However, today the BLM said it would not enforce a court order to remove the cattle and was pulling out of the area.

"Ya want Freedom Fries with that Lib burger??"

This is old news. See the documentary: 'Farmageddon'.

Beef is also one of the most important food sources for cell immunity repair.  The L-Carnitan works with other aminos to repair and build immune cells and that may well be why they were killing off that guys cattle.   He owed a million dollars and instead of confiscating his cattle and selling it off to pay off his debt, they killed the cattle and buried it on BLM land.   Now who would do that, if they were doing something only for money.   I think it was a test too,  implementing agenda 21 to steal the natural resources of the area and to get us used to the idea of them coming in and taking over our land.   All those foreclosures that happened, resulted in much of the land remaining in the hands of the bank.  Why?   Its all a land grab like they did in the ME.  Only this time it didn't work.  There is also the issue of control of all our food and water, ranchers were the last under attack.

The price of beef rose about 17% where I live and the price of (cow) skim milk rose about the same amount. But that doesn't appear connected to the events in Nevada because the same is true for hotdog wieners; pork, beef, & chicken. In other words there has been 17% inflation where I live in 2014. However, the government does NOT include food prices in its cost of living index. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Ribyeyes.

'Sounds like a good idea to me.

Anyone there right now...STAY!!! Could be a fake-out.

YES.

It's not over the Feds are just not dumb enough to wait for a few hundred heavily armed pissed off Militia members to show up.

The Bundy family will now be attacked in court for years instead of attacked physically.

they been doin that for 20 years already eh?

Uh, something doesn't smell right  here.   There were updates on this today saying that Texas militia was getting ready to head this way with 12,000 members.   Various others were on their way with 5,000 members.   Do you suppose that is why they left?   Or, are they going to try and ambush the militia?   I know, this was a test run on land confiscation and they wanted to measure the nations response.   Hah,  bet they got a huge surprise.  they think we are apathetic, but we are not,,,,, what we are is getting royally pissed off, and they can feel the  heat.

5000 to support the Bundy Ranch is a game-changer. Government cannot mobilize (5000...) agents because otherwise they would have to build a fence for the cattle.
