Breaking: Police: Gas smell in Superdome --Super Bowl Was on Hold During 35-Minute Delay 03 Feb 2013 Power went out at the Superdome early in the third quarter of the Super Bowl on Sunday with the Baltimore Ravens leading the San Francisco 49ers 28-6. Police officials said too much electricity was being pumped into the Superdome, causing a surge, and the power is in the process of returning to the building. The New Orleans fire department has been called to investigate a smell of gas near the Superdome's elevator No. 8, New Orleans police Sgt. T.J. St. Pierre said.

After a few minutes, the public address announcer said the Superdome was experiencing an interruption of electrical service and encouraged fans to stay in their seats.

the former prison camp of Katrina is a piece of old shit, I can't believe they still use it, especially for the SuperBowl. No big conspiracy here imo. What I found amazing was how biased the whole announcing crew was against Baltimore. I could tell these clowns did not want the Ravens to win @ all. Then when 1/2 the lights went out, they instantly broke into psych propaganda by trying to mentally tear them down. "Oh this is going to take the momentum out of the Ravens game", "This isn't good for Baltimore", "WOW, This could be the turning point for the 49er's" "The longer this delay goes on, the more its going to hurt the Ravens"

I mean how blatant can these announcing clowns get? Well Baltimore still won you morons.

"Daylight," Jones said after helping the Baltimore Ravens to a 34-31 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. "Follow any avenue and it was daylight."

Minutes after Jones gave the Ravens a 28-6 lead on the second-half kickoff, the lights went out in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Some backup lighting remained on, but play was stopped for about 34 minutes, and the international television broadcast was interrupted.

PS: commercials were horrible, albeit this one that was interesting, don't know what the message is supposed to be, farming is now a Monsanto Monopoly, Paul Harvey's dead, and what the hell does a new piece of China-made-crap vehicle have to do w/ this message??

Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco fired a few bombs to win against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, but by dropping the F-bomb on national TV during the Baltimore Ravens' post-game celebration, he opened CBS up to a complaint at the FCC.

The Parents Television Council, which fights indecent speech on the airwaves, asked the commission to investigate CBS for its failure to bleep out the offensive word.

A Vancouver Island man who won an all-expenses-paid trip to the Super Bowl in New Orleans has been refused entry into the U.S. because of a marijuana possession conviction dating back to 1981.

Victoria resident Myles Wilkinson won the trip in a fantasy football league contest, competing against nearly four million other players for the chance to attend the National Football League championship, featuring the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers.

But when he got to Pearson International Airport in Toronto on Thursday, U.S. customs agents learned of a marijuana possession conviction in Vancouver in 1981 and told him he was not allowed to enter the country.
