lol... poor rover, a smart pooch's survival instinct would be to play dead, or almost dead, conserve precious life energy's until his Lyft driving, MSNBC watching, human room mate, Marvin B Bland ran outta Process't, Not-jo-cheez-n-GMkorn flavored Fritos BBQ'd Cheeto's jalapeno flavored Dorito's & Diet Monster Energy drink, which in turn, he quickly starves (cardiacs) to death in the chair while pondering the ethics about eating that chair, 

.....Ol Rex would be set for a while, living high off the hog.... ya could say he was now eating the hand that fed him...... & then later, an arm, mid torso,... well, eventually, it would be mostly all of his once best, human friend....... mostly
