U.S. won’t seek death penalty for Snowden, Holder says in letter to Russian official

Holder also told Konovalov that Snowden would not be tortured if he returned to the United States and would be tried in a civilian rather than a military court, with the full protection of U.S. law. Snowden has suggested in press reports that he could be tortured or face the death penalty if returned home.
That http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/us-will-not-s... Holder- what a stand-up-guy, eh?

"Full protection of U.S. law? Makes me cringe I'd rather take my chances with Putin

Just life sentence with daily torture, sleeping lights on and infernal 90 decibels, 24/7. Merciful.

I truly admire Edward Snowden's courage.

Prometheus Among the Cannibals: A Letter to Edward Snowden

"Dear Edward Snowden,

Billions of us, from prime ministers to hackers, are watching a live espionage movie in which you are the protagonist and perhaps the sacrifice. Your way forward is clear to no one, least of all, I’m sure, you."

Huffington Post 07/18/2013

I'm friends with Rebecca Solnit on Facebook. My father and her hung out together during protest events at the Nevada Test Site. We all met Daniel Ellsberg too. He's got his stories to tell...

Here's Rebecca's letter to Edward Snowden. Powerful letter. It went viral...

http://www.tomdispatch.com/post/175726/tomgram%3A_rebecca_solnit%2C...

I saw the headline but hadn't read it until now- it IS powerful- THANKS! Snowden says his greatest fear is nothing will change. I think that is really what is behind the relative lack of reaction to what he has revealed- we KNOW that isn't what America is about, we know what Snowden faces for having brought it to light, but what can we do about it?
Not to be all schmultzy, but if Americans were to really embrace the sentiments in Solnit's letter, toward Snowden, Manning and perhaps others,as painful and open-ended as they are, our hearts would be in the perfect place to take our country back. The 'what-to-do' part wouldn't be so elusive if we truly feared for our countrymen and lamented the demise of our country.

Holder, your more Criminal than Hero Snowden will ever be. Your the one that needs to be tried for Treason, Murder, Extortion, Usurpation, Perjury, & Fraud. You and that whole damn Sotero Admin are the biggest criminal pricks ever to walk Capitol Hill, and We, The People are coming for you & your buttbuddys barry & biden, you chinless prick

...and don't think your going to be exempt either you soulless bitch...

It will be a fine day indeed, to see them all behind bars.
