(Personal comment)
I have to remind everyone that all of these places mentioned in the above article are in the Northern Hemisphere, the same hemisphere as Fukushima Daiichi. Does the human mind choose only to remember for a certain number of days and then forget, or do we just accept and move on to the next catastrophic event?

Events like that, are played down here. They say it's climate change, but they are starting "fracking" off the coast here in the U.K. and I felt the tremors. People do protest here, but the authorities take everyone's photo and make sure everyone pays for it, by getting harassed one way or another.
There is no place to escape on an island this small. People's cars get tracked and trapped in speed traps going just a couple of miles over the limit and things like that making them even more cowed down and poverty struck. Everyone here it seems has been intimidated at some time, and most I know are law abiding citizens.
@Tina Night
It gets better. Wait till you can light a match and ignite a flame in your toilet or sink. Sink holes are a major inconvenience too. One of the biggest mistakes you folks made in the UK, was giving up your guns. I feel your pain...

Is this true, Tina?
Wow, unbelievable. Just crazy. Thanks for posting, sharing.
Alarming,
Mankind has failed to take care of this planet. I had almost given up my hope of finding intelligence on this planet until India made this decision... sarcasm.
