Worst week here ever, may lose it
I'm freaking out people, straight up. I have lost not one, not two, not even three, but FOUR, Count'em FOUR, very good friends die on me since this past Sunday night. AND THIS IS JUST FRIDAY!!! Just got word of the 4th one now as I get ready for the f&f viewing tonite of another one followed by a funeral tomorrow afternoon, THEN a f&f viewing later that Sat. evening,for Sunday's funeral. I'm just numb...nothing suspicious, all non related deaths, all due to natural causes (age,heart attacks and Diane Eskew passed while wearing a dik cheney type setup while on a donor's list. She was recovering so well that she even went back to work 2-3 days a week. (Insurance Agent) Her son is over in Afghanistan. Her service is gonna be in limbo apparently because she's from England, and all her kin are there, and there's already problems w/ a couple relatives (her mom&dad) getting the paperwork or something to get here, I know no details yet.
I been asked by 1 already, if needed would I tote him up that hill and I said be an honor and a privilege.
CheezNcrackers I need a drink....well i gotta go get this over with...just felt like I had to yell this out somewhere because its blowing my mind & if I kept it bottled, I'd go mental ;)
looks like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking...

Sorry to hear about this. Hang in there and stay strong for the others. You will be forgiven if you postpone quitting smoking for another week.

Think of life as a crummy Greyhound station where we all wait for the bus to something better....after my tours in 'Nam, I know this is just a veil of tears that we transit on our way to a better existence.........hang tough.

leaving for #2 in 20mins, I'm calmed down a bit now, the initial shock is over. I'm just glad it wasn't immediate kin. Just weird ya lose 4 friends in less then 5 days like that.....helluva experience

I hope you're holding in there alright H! I remember losing a couple of close relatives in a span of two months many years back. It was a really crazy and painful time for me but I got through it, one day at a time.

We all take the walk eventually brother. Sorry to hear so many have crossed over at once. Life is a battle but it's worth the fight. Put that force field on my man.
