I am seeing the same thing, copper spot price $3.28 per ounce, are you sure you were quoted pure copper, there seems like there are might be some discrepancy!

Does anyone here invest in bullion copper. I found a place where I can but 500, 28 gram, .999 fine copper rounds for 25.00 dollars!! When I looked up the spot price of copper it was $3.28 per oz. Have I found something to invest in? I thought it would be a good investment as i figured it that means I would pay .05 cents per coin! That in turn would mean I already have made a $3.23 profit per coin. Would like to know what you guys think. mystery

Maybe you are misunderstanding something, the real value of bitcoin, is that you can transact anonymously over the Internet you can't do that with gold or silver or US dollars YOU CAN TRANSFER MONEY ANONYMOUSLY, BITCOIN IS NOT INTENDED TO BE AN INVESTMENT

But TLS you have to remember metal will always come back! Both metals have been money for thousands of years.
Now BitCoins on the other hand I would never have any faith in because it only exists on the whims of people. Nothing that is not physical has no value.
