As always, Superman to the rescue. Lauren the only way to head off this disaster would cost a few lives. Anyone willing to risk craning the fuel rods into a hastily built leaden container would bring down rad levels to a more tolerable amount. Unfortunately GE did not ever think of a redundant system. Hell, they didn't even think of a primary heavy water generator/pump and backup tower. It truly looks grim, and unfortunately, there are not many supermen available to sacrifice their lives to make sure the rest are safe. Even more unfortunate is that unless their was a large enough lead lined tank on site, then it would be impossible to construct one in time.

 

Same old argument that Nuclear Scientists expressed in 1957, and none of these safeguards or precautions are in place anywhere in the world.

I am so appalled at the magnitude of evil these people have.

International bankers threatened Japan that if they did not hand over their economy to them that they would use earthquake weapons on them.
They complied but they were use on them anyway. You can make any kind of deal with people like that. There is no more talking with these guys.
the only reason they want to talk is to keep what they have and figure out how they can keep it or destroy you. Watch the video.

Lauren, that would be an incredibly bad idea.  I know in Sci-Fi movies they save us all from Apocalypse with nuclear bombs, but if they did that to a reactor containing thousands of tons of radioactive material, you would have fallout like 100,000 nuclear bombs going off.

@Tula, KRYPKE & 7R, my quick-thinking teen bought two bottles of Thryo-shield through Amazon.  The pills last 7 years and the liquid only lasts a year but it is easier to give to kids, babies and pets - please don't forget your pets!  Thanks all for your help.
